LJ hasn't been my thing this winter.  Sorry.  Other than an occasional drive-by, I probably missed a lot. 

Updates:
~Osiris and I broke up a little over a month ago.  Although it felt good the first two months, it clearly wasn't going to last.   Not to be mean, but it was most likely a rebound.  Ultimately, he wouldn't have been a good match.
~Work has been semi-pleasant so far in 2009.  There were a few rocky places the end of last year.  Not to say I was in any danger of losing my job, but I was in hate with it.
~I currently have bronchitis.  Coughing can die in a fire.
~I'm 'dating someone'.  It's very new.  He is fucking brilliant and I find that so attractive.  I've never dated a "smart" guy before!  Not to say they were all completely dumb, just not as intelligent as they like to think they are.  He thinks I'm 'beautiful in so very many ways' and yeah, I like that. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.  He is leaving in the Fall to attend Law School in Michigan.  So basically, I'm not sure I should even go there because it will most likely have to end then.  What to do, what to do?  We'll see. 
~I think Ireland in the fall is a fantastic idea.
~Been thinking about getting that real estate license soon.  Keep putting it off.  It'll be an advantage in my career.
~Family drama bites.
~Celeste and I are going to sell our jewelry at Bumpershoot this summer!!!  Liz and Jess might sell some wares, too.  Yay fun.
~Considering adding a baby girl kitten to my family.  Keep your ears open for people who have kittens available.  I'm not too keen on bringing respiratory illnesses home from the shelters to my 'family' members as I almost killed a past cat that way, but I will rescue an unwanted kitten other ways. 





 

Thank you all for being so welcoming last night.  Osiris and I both had great comments from several of you.  Introductions made him a little nervous but that's out of the way now.  He seemed to be well received.  He's part of the pack now and that's good since he'll be around for a while!  It's never a good thing when your friends don't like the person you're dating...

I have a date today.  And I don't even want to number him! 

We're actually meeting at PetSmart for Adoption Day to drool over kittens.  His idea.  lol!  I made him promise not to let me fall in love and bring one home.  He asked the same of me.  
 

**Edited after date: Over 6 hours of wandering, sitting, non-stop talking.  He kissed me, we held hands, we made plans for next Saturday.   *smile*
